Baby Pineapple
Oh man you guys! I totally got suckered into buying a 6 dollar baby pineapple! My sweet puppy dog eyed daughter was begging for it and I was ok saying no, until....
I smelled the butt. Ok, I'm sure the term for it is not "butt" but that is what I call it.
It smelled like heaven wrapped in the sweetest ripest angel fruit. The best smell I may have ever smelled!
Well, I had to try. I was intrigued. The tag says that you do not even need to core it because the whole thing is edible so I'm guessing because it is a baby the core isnt hard yet.
I'm honestly not sure if the kids will cry when we slice into it but I'm excited to eat the most delicious smelling thing that my nose has ever set hairs on. Moming can be hard being asked for every darn thing all the time but sometimes the finds are good!
Have you guys ever tried one of these babies? I'll let you know how it was on my next post when I give you one of my beloved Hatch Green Chili recipes!
